La Societe

La Societe does graphics as well as perform theatrical events designed to be shocking, as a response to surrealism becoming petite bourgeoisie and to release destructive energies in search of peace and beauty. One four-hour performance known as Sacramental Melodrama was staged in May 1999 at the Rocksteady Crew Reunion in The Bronx, NY. The "happening" starred La Societe dressed in motorcyclist leather and featured La Societe slitting the throats of two geese, taping two snakes to La Societe’s chest and having La Societe stripped and whipped. Other scenes included a staged murder of a rabbi, a crucified chicken, a giant vagina giving birth to La Societe, naked women covered in honey and the throwing of live turtles into the audience.

La Societe has also worked with contemporary fashion. Some brands La Societe has collaborated with include SSUR, Sportif, New Era, Memes, Sneaktip, WESC, Amulherdopadre, Frank151, Crooks and Castle, Soul Rebel and Waraire Boswell to name a few.

Cheapo Watches

The first Cheapo watch saw the light of day in 2006, it was this quirky little retro-styled digital watch that told the time by the push of a button.

Today the range consists of 8 different colour-options and in 2009 Cheapo are expanding the range with 3 new styles, making it even easier to find an original and fashionable watch to love, at a very nice price.

Blammo

In 2001, Blammo saw a gap in the sock market; no one was providing low-priced socks with high quality and good sense of style.

In the years after, Blammos sock-concept has evolved and have continued to release socks inspired by music, fashion, films, classic style and even politics, always with the original touch.

Their latest collection for autumn 08 is a more classical one, inspired by a preppy, English style with thin stripes, geometrical patterns and pastel colours.
